Q. First and foremost, why was there a need for synthetic courts?

It should be noted that not all sports are played on synthetic courts.

Let’s take cricket or football… main matches are played on natural turf. Maintaining natural grass became expensive, so alternatives were initially introduced for training and later for professional play.

The best example is tennis. It was known as “Lawn Tennis”, and today it has evolved into “Tennis” with synthetic options.

Q. How do synthetic sports surfaces improve athlete performance?

Since synthetic courts require minimal maintenance, players can practice more frequently and improve their skills.

Synthetic cricket practice pitches are a perfect example.
